Yenu Allowah is wrap around service we are a licensed 48 place Early Learning Centre with a community hub that delivers Family Programs, after school groups for children 3-17 years of age, Life skills to community and DV awareness.

Yenu Allowah is a leading, all-encompassing provider of child and family services based in Western Sydney delivering a dynamic range of programs that nurture the well-being and growth of children and families alike.
Our Early Learning Centre is a licensed facility that offers exceptional education for children from birth to five years, featuring a dedicated preschool program that lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Beyond early education, Yenu Allowah runs a rich variety of community-focused initiatives designed to uplift families and create lasting, positive outcomes across the community.
We are also deeply committed to supporting individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault, offering essential services and compassionate resources that guide them on a path toward safety, healing, and empowerment.
Through all our programs, we strive to build a nurturing environment where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and belong.

Our Board of Directors

Alisi Tutuila
Chairperson
Alisi Tutuila, Chairperson at Yenu Allowah, is a proud Worimi - Traditional Owner and Tongan woman with a deep passion for the Early Childhood Education Sector. With over 20 years of experience working with Aboriginal communities across Australia, Alisi is committed to the development of innovative educational modules tailored for the Early Childhood Education sector.
Holding an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services, she has tirelessly worked to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. Her influential work with Aboriginal communities has shaped Yenu’s centre whilst building a self-sustaining foundation, ensuring that programs are culturally relevant, inclusive, and impactful.
Alisi’s leadership is driven by a strong commitment to fostering supportive environments that enhance the educational outcomes and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Alisi often says that “It is our responsibility to cultivate the next generation of leaders, and this starts with establishing a strong governance foundation that allows a platform for young children to grow.


Linda Lewis
Board Member
Linda Lewis, originally from Bourke, has dedicated many years of her career to the health sector and currently works at the Aboriginal Health Unit in Mount Druitt.
When Yenu was first established, she was eager to get involved. After its completion on the Mount Druitt hospital grounds, she signed up to become a member and was elected to the board as one of the founding members. She continues to serve as a current board member. Linda is passionate about being part of Yenu because she believes that children are the future. She emphasizes the importance of enhancing children's lives through quality education, starting from infancy and continuing through their late twenties.
Tony Zumbo
Board Member
Uncle Tony Zumbo is a proud Gumbaynggirr man who has served as a Board Director at Yenu Allowah for the past five years. His decision to join the board was driven by a deep passion for seeing his community thrive and grow through the services provided by Yenu Allowah. Uncle Tony dedicates much of his time to community engagement, working tirelessly to raise awareness of the organization’s services and ensure they reach those who need them most.
With a background in facilities management and extensive experience caring for children under care, Uncle Tony brings valuable expertise to the table. His qualifications include certifications in governance, Family Group Conferencing, Trauma-Informed Care, Fire Warden, and WHS (Work Health and Safety).
In addition to his role as a Board Director, Uncle Tony serves as the Vice-Chair, continuing to play a key role in the leadership and growth of Yenu Allowah.

Peter Woodhall
Board Member
Peter is a proud Darag / Awabakal man based in Western Sydney, serving as the Director of Warali Wali Aboriginal Corporation, a prominent training and safety consulting organization specializing in workforce training and Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance. With a career in the training and safety industry since 2017, Peter has developed a strong foundation in both fields.
He holds extensive qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Diploma of Community Services, a Graduate Diploma in Management (Learning), a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, and is a certified ICAM Lead Investigator for incidents. Peter’s expertise lies in blending effective training practices with a strong commitment to safety compliance, ensuring that programs meet legal standards and create a secure environment for all involved.

Andrew King
Specialist Director
Andrew King is an Independent Director of Yenu, and a proud Darug/Darkinjung man from Western Sydney with a strong background in youth work, education, and Aboriginal art. He spent over five years with Community Junction, creating safe and supportive spaces for young Aboriginal men to grow, express vulnerability, and reconnect with Culture.
Currently, Andrew works as an Aboriginal Education Support Officer with TAFE NSW, where he supports students through culturally grounded and responsive educational pathways. He also brings 18 years of experience in the tyre fitting industry, combining practical skills with a deep commitment to community wellbeing.
As a passionate artist, Andrew shares his Culture through painting, often collaborating with his father, Dennis King, in their home studio on Wiradjuri Country in Kandos—keeping cultural stories and connections alive through intergenerational creativity.
