Linda Lewis

I have lived in the community of Mount Druitt for the past 22 years. I am a proud Aboriginal woman from Bourke Far Western NSW.

I am a proud mother of 5 children who has the joys of caring & entertaining my 16 grandchildren which I thoroughly enjoy.

My interest in becoming a member of Yenu Allowah Aboriginal Child & Family Centre (ACFC) stems from working with children & families in my everyday work with NSW Health. I am passionate about helping people and I can do this in my role as a Director.

I have worked hard over many years and as a result of this hard work I have successfully gained a Bachelor of Adult Education in Aboriginal Education, Certificate of Attainment in Otitis Media Screening and partially completed Certificate IV Aboriginal Health Worker in Practice which provides me with extensive understanding and knowledge to best advocate for the children, families and the community of Yenu Allowah ACFC.

Please see my qualifications below;

• Aboriginal Health Hub – Aboriginal Otitis Media Coordinator 20 years
• Bachelor of Adult Education in Aboriginal Education
• Certificate of Attainment in Otitis Media Screening – OTEN

As a Director of Yenu Allowah Aboriginal Corporation I will continue to ensure I have Yenu Allowah Aboriginal Child & Family Centre’s service users interests at the forefront of my decision making.
The Board and the Staff of Yenu Allowah ACFC open our Centre to you, your families and together we can achieve change.
